TUGGING HER HOODIE over her head, Hyeri exhaled rather loudly– due to being bored from waiting for the other to get here. Maybe she should’ve texted the girl earlier, that way, instead of just waiting, she could’ve been on her way here as well. But oh well, sucks to be Hyeri! Thank the Lord that she was under a shade, or else, she would’ve burned underneath the sun’s rays.
As sweat travelled down her forehead, the girl wiped at it gently. It was way too hot to her liking. Plus, she was wearing a black hoodie. Who would even? When her phone vibrated on her lap, Hyeri checked her phone, later unlocking it to reply to her younger friend.

☂ — Relief came in too soon, with the buzz of her
handphone, Sujin blankly stared at the passing
views and scenery that ran too quickly on the
bus’ window. Coming to a gradual halt, a familiar
building stood tall, its stature turned against the
sun. Arms reaching out for the ‘stop’ button, deft
fingers pulled against the dark-washed mask,
settling it once again around her nose bridge.
Skipping down to the sidewalk’s platform, the
sun-soaked city contrasted itself to where a
familiar stature sat, occupied by her own
thoughts. Without fail, an idol really does
stand out in public.
It would be inappropriate to greet her from here, as
it would give out their so-called secrecy. Peering
with a knowing grin obstructed by her mask,
she sauntered to where the older one is.
“Excuse me, you look lonely,”
